Journal 22/11/2011

Ok, so it's 11:14pm and I'm crying. A lot. There is a lot of crying going on here. Tonnes of crying. I'm also on the phone to my boyfriend, because he has to listen to me cry.  You do not. Which is probably good for you.
I can't see it! That is the problem. I can't see what I want the space to look like at all. Dirty Grey. That is all I see right now just a miss mash of dirty, pointy, grey. I just feel exhausted and empty. And I would very much like a grand moment of inspiration. It seems more likely I will just end up with a hot glue gun burns. And an ugly pile of paper someone will tear by the end of the meeting. Have I whined enough yet? Ok then, I'll be quiet. Let's just watch Howard Barker Youtube videos until my coffee and bailey's mellows me out.

Plastic Sheeting:
For the piece at 2B Butlers Wharf I stretched two sheets of clear plastic sheeting the length and height of one side on the space. Then, using black emulsion paint, I moved through the space, making marks suggested by the space and the rhythms of my movement within it. Peter Todd
